Built in 1904, this jail is on the National Register of Historic Places and is located in Huntsville, TN. Our true crime and law enforcement appreciation museum spans all three floors of this historic jail and can be viewed during our daytime general business hours. For wheelchairs and scooters, the second and third floors of the Historic Scott County Jail are not accessible. These floors are accessed by a staircase that we consider moderately strenuous. Assistance and service dogs, are the only animals that are allowed to enter the historic structure.
