MEET THE AUTHOR & BOOK SIGNING
We are excited to announce that the widely successful, "HighWinds: Quest for Rome" paperback book, has been re-released with a new cover and additional features! New features include GPS locations of gravesites and notorious places mentioned in the book as well as page formatting. J.H. Gason will be at the jail museum on Saturday, Sept. 7th, for a book signing and Q&A concerning the Cumberland River Coal War. The events in this book took place at the Historic Scott County Jail and the novel is based on the lynchings of the Cumberland River Coal War. Written by J.H. Gason, a direct descendent of the Cumberland River Coal, this book is well researched and historically accurate. Other titles by Gason include: "@Mist in the Mountains: How Columbian Cocaine caused the fall of a Corrupt East TN Sheriff", "Mist in the Mountains: Case of the Cursed Cash" and "High Winds: Final Chapter". You can only purchase the paperback exclusively at the Historic Scott County Jail Museum Gift Shop or through our online store - https://www.historicscottcojail.com/gift-shop
