Join us at the for a fascinating in-person event! Discover the remarkable tools that shaped the history of Tennessee. This teacher professional development session is designed to provide educators with valuable insights and resources to enhance their teaching. We will be analyzing tools used from the prehistoric period up through statehood to learn how people lived and thrived in Tennessee. (And yes, you will get to touch actual artifacts.)Historic Scott County Jail and Museum
Teachers will become the students as we work our way through activities that you can use in your classroom to discover what these objects from that past tell us about the culture and history that formed our state.
